Meet Tom Watson

Tom practices in the areas of estate planning and probate, business, taxation, and elder law. He helps individuals and families through all aspects of the estate planning process. He prepares wills and trusts and formulates specialized wealth transfer, charitable giving, and succession planning strategies. He also develops and implements disability and long term care planning strategies for elderly individuals and individuals with special needs. This includes Medicaid and VA benefit planning. After a loved one dies, he guides clients through the probate and trust administration process.

He also represents for profit business and non-profit organizations in formation, operation, reorganization, and related tax planning strategies. He provides advice in navigating various federal and Washington state income, excise, estate, and gift tax issues. Tom also prepares federal and state income tax returns and represents individuals and businesses in civil tax controversies before the IRS.

When Tom is away from the office, he enjoys spending time with his lovely wife and two children (hopefully fishing).
